HASTINGS — John Walz of Hastings has announced his candidacy for the Republican primary in Nebraska’s 3rd Congressional District.
According to his announcement, Walz is a Christian, a Marine Corps veteran, an engineer and entrepreneur, and a MAGA Republican.
Adrian Smith, the 3rd District incumbent, is a Republican and has been a member of Congress since 2007.
Walz said he has a four-step strategy to safeguard the nation’s future:
1) Kneel and pray for God’s intervention;
2) Learn why and how the U.S. was founded;
3) Learn about enemies and their plans; and,
4) Support patriots for all elected positions.
Walz states, “I am seeking many volunteers and contributions ASAP because the runway is short.”
